The Illinois Finance Authority (IFA) is pleased to share the official release of a public announcement regarding the second round of projects for IFA’s Grid Resilience Grants program.
This release outlines how $12 million of funding will be deployed to local utilities and municipalities to improve electric grid resilience in communities across the state. Projects will benefit 38,000 residents by reducing power outages, improving restoration times, and lowering electricity bills, reflecting our continued commitment to creating a more sustainable and equitable future for all Illinois residents.
